Bat care and collection of grounded bats – help wanted:

To help with calls from the public it would be great to have some more collectors and bat carers in the Group, especially if we can find people in different parts of the county so that no one has to travel too far.   We’re trying to gauge how much interest there would be if we organised another training session in bat care so if you might be interested please email the Secretary at

If you would be happy to join the list of collectors please also get in touch with Kathy.  Collectors pick up bats from members of the public and pass them on to one of the bat carers for assessment and hopefully rehabilitation and release.  You would need to have up-to-date rabies vaccination.   Mileage expenses can be paid
